Welcome to the Peace Corps - Zambia

This site was created to share Peace Corps experiences and resources with others. In February 1992, President Chiluba requested that Peace Corps open a program in Zambia. He recieved a positive response from President Bush and an agreement between the two Governments was signed on September 14, 1993. Since then, over 1,500 Volunteers have completed their service in Zambia. Today Peace Corps Zambia is the largest Peace Corps Program in the Africa region with approximately 300 Volunteers serving across seven provinces.
